Nikolai Schirmer, the prodigal son of Norwegian freeskiing has taken a sabbatical winter in Pemberton, British Columbia to ski, film, eat beef jerky, go sledding and integrate into this community of hard to cook Canadian wild skiers. He set himself the goal of one report per week to share his vision of ski culture. It’s not exactly a holiday but Nikolai is weird like that, he always has to keep moving and shaking.
