Bernie could neither consider a life without skiing, nor skiing without the freedom of skiing. Now a snowcat operator, his night shift allows him to solve the equation and to freeski every day, freely.

Skiing is his guide, the mountains his promised land. Bernie has always stayed true to this double ambition. From his native Vermont, he crossed the States, spread his wings in Utah before finding a life-balance in California. Snowcat operator at night and always up if the conditions are good, Bernie keeps the dream alive, daily.
