Third in the Verbier event last weekend, second in the 2019 Freeride World Tour, Kristofer Turdell was the season’s most persistent skier. He finished with a breathtaking run and one only has to look at all the races to understand that he missed the title the Tour by a whisker, or perhaps by a speck of dust on the judges’ glasses. But that is the way it goes in sports which are judged and he has once again proven that he ruled the competition’s freeride. Fluid, committed, rapid, with just what it takes in freestyle to please the big shots, Kristofer is a kind of extraterrestrial. How convenient, he will be there for the Unlimited Festival, leading the Ski Sauvage sessions for the enthusiastic festival-goers.
