Spurtreu, the double act

The crow Björn Heregger and his riding partner Stefan Häusl are the main protagonists in a new film by Hanno Mackowitz shot in the Arlberg region of Austria. Under the reign of short videos, Spurtreu-“trusted line”- stands out for it’s duration and tone; 24 minutes following the meanderings of a moped with two skiers searching for some vertical sensations and great skiing. Both romantic and energetic, steeped in Bjorn and Stefan’s personal impressions, this short documentary leads us through a blessing ceremony on a bed of powder, a pure freeride session on the north face of the Kuchenspitz. Sound the trumpets.
